Quick start

This quick start gets your OmniOrders account running on real data: your first channel connected, your products in, and your locations set up. Each step has its own page, and you can come back to any of them later.

Your 14-day trial runs on the Essential plan, with up to 3 connected warehouses.

How OmniOrders fits together

OmniOrders sits between where you sell and where you keep stock.

Your channels

Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce and other places you sell.

OmniOrders

Your orders, products and stock in one place.

Your locations

Your own warehouses and stores, 3PLs and Amazon MCF.

  • Orders come in from your channels.
  • Stock levels come in from your locations: automatically from a 3PL or Amazon MCF, or as you enter them for a location you run yourself.
  • Available stock and tracking go back out to your channels, so what you sell matches what you have.

The four steps

Key terms

Channel
Anywhere you sell, such as Shopify, Amazon or WooCommerce. You connect each one under Automation › Integrations.
SKU
The code that identifies each product or variant. OmniOrders matches products across channels by SKU, so use the same one everywhere you sell.
Location
Anywhere you hold stock or ship from: your own warehouse or store, a 3PL, or Amazon MCF. The app calls these facilities, under Supply Chain › Facilities.
Integration
The connection between OmniOrders and another system, such as a channel. Each channel integration has a Monitoring tab for its logs and a Settings tab for what it syncs.

Before you start

  • Admin access to the store or marketplace you're connecting, so you can approve OmniOrders or create API keys.
  • At least one product there with inventory tracking turned on, so you can see the sync work.
  • You're signed in to OmniOrders at app.omniorders.com.
